Re: November training details
Reminder – Everyone should check the training board when they come in and see if they have any information for them hanging on it. There is important information regarding training hours for you to review for your recertification requirements. Some have already gotten their others have not.
Wednesday November 2nd 1830 hours we will be touring the Union Bank block on Railroad Street. As you all are aware this property was just upgraded and a sprinkler system and fire alarm system were installed. Please be ready to leave the firehouse at 1830 hours. Our tour guide will be Dennis Lamothe.
Wednesday November 9th 1830 hours we will have our flu shots given to us by FF Darby’s mother. Immediately following that we will have our quarterly department meeting that was rescheduled from the previous month. If you did not respond to my email in the time frame that I requested you may still be able to get a shot if she brings enough extra doses but there are no guarantees
Wednesday November 16th 1900 hours our regular call drill will be the district 5 EMS training at NVRH. This is sponsored by CALEX Ambulance, it will be geared toward the EMS providers, but should contain good information for those who are not EMS providers as well. Presentation will be given by Gayle Finkelstein from Northern New England Poison Center.
There will be no department drill this month due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
